Preventive Controls for Human Food

Preventive controls are actions that you, as a domestic or international food facility, must take to reduce or eliminate food safety hazards. The FDA Food Safety Modernization Act of 2011 mandated the Preventive Controls for Human Food rule. The rule also includes the requirements for Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP).
